The bearded guy in work clothes and a beret, with a hammer in his hand, is carefully looking for a spot to split a granite block. A small plaque tells about importance of stone processing industry for the region since the time of first settlers in 17th century till nowadays.
The statue was placed in 2000 by local organization Pillargurikomitteen.
