This is a 100-year time capsule, located on the west side of Fort Worth, Texas, placed in our nation's bicentennial year.

This time capsule is placed in the exact middle of the Bluebonnet Traffic Circle in Fort Worth, Texas, less than a mile south of Texas Christian University.
The capsule was placed in June of 1976, our nation's bicentennial, and is designed/intended to be opened on our nation's tricentennial, the year 2076.
While I was out there taking the photo and such, a local resident, who happened to be a relative of a fellow cacher, came up and offered his rememberances of the time capsule origination. He is part of the surrounding college traffic circle community, which is quite eclectic.
He remembers first hand when the time capsule was installed. He says the time capsule was implemented as a school project by the nearby McLean Middle School.
