Built in 1858 to transport oil from Oil Springs to Sarnia it survived as a plank road until 1875. Now mostly paved but still called Plank Road

Coordinates are for a plaque at the Oil Springs end of the Plank Road. Original cost was about $1000 per mile. There were three toll houses, of which at least one still survives. Other details are on the plaque:
