Der alte Friedhof von Tharandt bestand bis 1873. Auf dem ehemaligen Friedhofsgelände erfolgte 1910 der Bau des neuen Schulgebäudes. An der heutigen Zufahrt des Schulgeländes sind 2 große, gut lesbare Grabsteine erhalten geblieben. Desweiteren findet man bei Grabungen auf dem Schulgelände, nach wie vor Überreste der Gräber.
The old cemetery of Tharandt exists until 1873. On the former grounds of the cemetery the construction of the new school building was built in in 1910. At the entrance of the school grounds, there have been preserved 2 large, legible grave stones. Even today there can be found remains of the tombs.
