Weather Radar of Coruche/Cruz do Leão is one of the two working weather radars, in Portugal's mainland, and is operated by the Portuguese Meteorological Institute.
The Weather Radar of Coruche / Cruz de Leão, built in 1998, is one of the two meteorological radars operating in mainland Portugal. Its area of influence is the entire central region of the Portuguese territory.
The weather radar of Loulé is the second weather radar, and monitors the south region.
The northern region will be monitored by a future radar to be built in Freitas, in Arouca municipality.
