The Bahamas Historical Society was founded in 1959. The building you see here was donated by the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire in 1976. Bahama has over 500 years of history to cover, so of it is on display inside, include pictures, ship models, and documents.

Admission is $1 Adults and $0.50 Children.

Note that the museum is closed during July and August for a summer recess.
