The church is a fairly modern large brick complex with a large fenced carpark. In July 2012, after many months of planning, the Northern Territory’s first “Food for Life” outlet opened at Casuarina Baptist Church. Working with Baptist Care Northern Territory and sourcing products from “Foodbank”, it is hoped that they can “fill a gap” by providing groceries and other items to people in the community who are financially constrained.

A 'Christian Resource Centre' is located next door, comprising the Bible Society, Scripture Union Northertn Territory, and 'afes' - Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. The Christian Resource Centre is open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday to Friday.

The Darwin Christian Broadcasters Association Inc operate the radio station Darwin’s 97 Seven on the adjacent property, with the aim "to bring real life to Darwin by being good friends that play you great music and bring you a message of Hope. We want you to feel like this is a place you can turn to 24/7 if you just want to hear some great music, or if you want a friend to talk to or you just want to hear an encouraging word that will give you a lift.
