The church was constructed in the gothic revival architectural style with its high roofs, pointed arches, long naves, and ornate chancels. The church currently has one bell in its tower, but they are exploring the possibility of installing six or eight bells in the existing bell tower. The church is currently soliciting input from Dumfries residents, particularly the residents that live near the church. The plan is to ring the bells not only prior to the weekly 11am Sunday service, but for special events such as weddings, Remembrance Day, St Andrew’s Day, and Hogmanay. According to the church website, the existing bell was recently refurbished and is rung weekly prior to the 11am Sunday service.
