Sandstone Monument with a USC&G Benchmark embedded into the top. As you stand next to the Monument, the mesa close by to the northeast is "Inital Mesa". The mountains to the east and northeast are the Beaver Dam Mountains. The mountains to the southeast are the Virgin Mountains.
When you visit, remember, you're in the desert. Bring plenty of water, no matter what time of year.
