In 2004, the Adirondack Christmas Box Angel of Hope was erected to become a place for those who have lost a child to not only grieve but to find solace and comfort with others.
It stands in a peaceful garden in front of the Adirondack Medical Center overlooking Lake Colby in Saranac Lake, New York.
The Pedestal reads -
"Our Children
Remembered
Always
Loved
Forever"
A plaque on the rear side of the statue says -
"The Christmas Box Angel
Dec.6th marks the annual gathering
here for those who have lost a child.
The public is welcome. All are
invited to leave a white flower."
A candlelight service is held at the angel on December 6th at 7 pm.
