Skärholmen is a suburban district in south-western Stockholm, primarily consisting of Million Programme style apartment buildings from the 1960s and early 1970s. As such, it is one of the larger and more well known concrete suburbs of Stockholm, with one of the biggest shopping centres in Sweden.
The Swedish Police Service (Swedish: Polisen, or Polismyndigheten) is a collection of Government agencies concerned with police matters in Sweden.
The Swedish Police Service consists of 28,500 employees of which 39 per cent are women. The staff consists of 20,000 police officers of which 25 per cent are women and 8,500 civilian staff of which 70 per cent are women. Almost all active duty police officers are members of the Swedish Police Union (Polisförbundet).

Visit Instructions:
To log a visit, you must post a photo of you in front of the building described, with your GPS in the photo. No drive by photos.
I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
