On the banks of the River Braint lies this boardwalk which leads to the large stepping stones across the water. The river feeds into the Menai Strait only a short distance away.

The boardwalk crosses the marshy land and grass which lines the river bank. The tidal river is affected by the movement of the Irish Sea and Menai Strait.
With the boardwalk the stepping stones appear colossal upon closer inspection. They require large strides to negotiate them. The stepping stones are limestone blocks and lead between Pen-lon and Rhuddgaer farm on this public footpath.
