The Nightcliff Police Station is occupied by Darwin's 'Traffic & Specialist Services Command' and the 'Nightcliff Police Beat Shop Front'

The Police Station is manned Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. There is an 'Emergency Police Telephone' to the left of the doorway. In recognition of the multi-racial populace of the area the words 'Emergency Police Telephone' are repeated in five other languages, Indonesian, Greek, Vietnamese, Arabic (I think), and Chinese. Sadly the words 'Press For Attention' are only in English, hopefully Non English Speakers will guess that pressing the red button will work.

If anyone reading this waymark can confirm that second last language please let me know and I will update the listing.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
