This museum was established in 1869, although temporarily hosted in a different building, before the collection was moved to the current structure, when it was finally finished, in 1895.
There are more than 30.000 pieces in the exhibit, which takes eight halls, referring to the history of the Black Sea Fleet from its start in 1793 up to nowadays.
