The Croatian Hope Memorial is located in Gallup's Babe Ruth Park, on the north side of I-40. A foot bridge from the park to the west leads visitors to the memorial. Dedicated bricks are laid out in a walkway entrance about 6 feet wide that lines the path through the area right up to the monument.

(Croatian Hope)
This memorial is dedicated to the Croatian Immigrants and their families, who migrated from their homeland in the late 1800's. They came to America to fulfill a dream - to provided the best possible life for their families and future generations to come. They settled in Gallup, New Mexico where the coal mining industry provided an opportunity for work. Today, many Croatian families still reside in Gallup, where the traditions and heritage of our Croatian ancestors continues to be passed on from generation to generation.
