Man made lake in the Apache National Forrest in north central NM. The lake is at 7692 ft and is nice n cool in the mid summer. Fishing for rainbow trout in normally better in the late spring or early Summer. Boat with electric motors are allowed.

This lake has several campgrounds all ran by the National Forrest. Cost vary from $7/night at the upper campgrounds to $10/night with water and electric hookup (no sewage) for RVs. There are several campground located on the back part of the lake that are considered "primitive". There are also several trails around the lake. ATV are allowed but must stay on designated road or trails and have NM permits or a license from original state. The lake itself is 600+ acres.
