Perched upon a hill near the southcentral part of the Thanksgiving Point Gardens are these four freestanding columns. There are two ways to access this location - one is a direct pathway to the circular rose garden to the west and the other is a circular pathway that radiates outward from the top of the hill. The four columns are arranged in a semicircular pattern. These columns appear to be formed out of concrete.

The Thanksgiving Point Gardens website explains the gardens with the following:

"Most guests agree that the Thanksgiving Point Gardens are the biggest surprise that Thanksgiving Point has to offer. the beautiful gardens arespread out over fifty five sprawling acres, they represent some of themost vivacious terrain in the West.

The individual gardens are organized like the rooms of an immense estate, with thousands of trees, shrubs and grasses serving as living barriers between spaces, creating a sense of wonder as guests pass from "room" to "room." Within the grounds, there are 15 separate themed gardens:

• Shepherd's Hill
• Grand Allee
• Creek Garden
• Monet Garden
• Rose Garden
• Koi View Pier
• Vista Mound Garden
• Fragrance Garden
• Secret Garden
• The Light of the World Garden
• Butterfly Garden
• Italian Garden
• Prairie Garden
• Parterre Garden
• Waterfall Amphitheatre
• Mountain Garden

Add to that 13 acres of turf grass, a quarter million tulips in our tulip garden, seventy varieties of roses, and the largest manmade waterfall in the Western hemisphere, and you can understand how the Gardens keep its staff of twenty-six seasonal gardeners and six full-time staff members busy."
