Rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and Dolly Varden char can all be caught at Brewster Lake. There is a car-top boat launch at the 9-unit Brewster Beach campground, and another at Apple Point. Brewster Lake is part of the Sayward Forest Canoe route, a 47 km trip through a chain of 11 local lakes.
