The field where these millstones are located is across the road from the George Rogers Clark Homesite in the Falls of the Ohio State Park, and was built by the Town of Clarksville as part of the events marking the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. There is no information about the millstones, but it is possible they came from the local area as the falls on the Ohio River at this point would have been a logical place for mills. The web site listed below is the one telling about events for 2012 and gives information about the local park.
