As passengers make their way from the cruise ship dock to Gamla Stan (Old Town) in Stockholm they will pass this impressive anchor on display between the pedestrian walkway and the road. The anchor is located on a raised concrete, half-oval, island and rests on a convex base of bricks. The anchor is huge, about 4.5 meters long and 4 meters high as it rests on with its flukes on the ground and its stock and ring in the air.
