Vor der Firma Thöni befand sich die Lodenfabrik Schindler (Jenny & Schindler) in den Gebäuden.
Diese machte pleite und Thöni übernahm das Fabriksgelände.

"Das Unternehmen wurde 1964 von Arthur Thöni als Schlossereibetrieb gegründet und baute zwei Jahre später sein erstes Produktionsgebäude in Telfs.
