South Down Cottage is a 13th century,
thatched timber framed private residence in Easole Street, Nonington, Kent. It
is a single storey building with an attic with evidence of an interior of an
early hall house with a 12 foot square hall and trussed rafter roof. It is
listed as an Historic Building of Kent and was given Grade II listed building
status in 1980.
