The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA) is a nonprofit organisation and a registered charity made up of volunteer resources throughout Canada. The CCGA has been in existence since 1978 and provides assistance to the Coast Guard and the National Defense with search and rescue and safe boating programs.
There are 2 rescue stations on the Lac des Deux-Montagnes. One is located in St-Placide and is operated by well trained students working there all summer and the second one is this one operated by volunteers.
The boat is provided by the Canadian Coast Guard. The volunteers do patrol, ssearch and rescue every weekend and they are on call during the weekdays.
La Garde côtière auxiliaire canadienne (GCAC) est un organisme de charité enregistré constitué de bénévoles provenant de partout au Canada. Créée en 1978, la GCAC assiste la Garde côtière et la Défense nationale grâce à ses programmes de recherche et sauvetage et de sécurité nautique.
Il y a 2 stations de sauvetage sur le Lac des Deux-Montagnes. L'une est située à St-Placide et est exploitée par des étudiants bien formés qui y travaillent tout l'été et la deuxième est celle-ci, exploitée par des bénévoles.
Le bateau est fourni par la Garde côtière canadienne. Les bénévoles font de la patrouille, de la recherche etdu sauvetage tous les week-ends et ils sont sur appel pendant les jours de semaine.
