Morton Salt Mine - Glendale, Arizona - Salt Pans and Mines on Waymarking.com

Southwest Salt started mining here in 1969 and then sold the mine to Morton in 1985. There are two active brine wells. The salt from this facility is not used for table salt, but is used for industrial purposes.
