This lion statue is at the entrance to the Village Office of Nodong-ri.

Although there is not emblem or indication on the dedication plaque identifying this huge lion statue, it is very similar to ones erected by the Lions Club elsewhere in Korea. This one is roadside at the entrance to the Village Office for Nodong-ri, and agricultural area south of the town of Yesan, South Chungcheong Province. There is a beautiful view of Yedang Reservoir from here.
