Der Strand auf dem Priwall ist ca. 1350 Meter lang und bis zu 260 Meter breit. Die Strandfläche wird als Badestrand, Hundestrand und FKK-Strand genutzt. Der Hunde- und FKK Bereich ist besonders gekennzeichnet.

Nach Süden geht der Priwallstrand in eine Dünen-Landschaft über. Diese steht unter Naturschutz und darf nicht betreten werden. Die Ostsee ist in dem Uferbereich sehr flach und wird erst nach ca. 50 Metern tiefer. Der Priwall-Strand bietet auch im Hochsommer genügend Platz, darum ist dieser besonders für Familien mit Kindern und Jugendliche geeignet. Außerdem wird die Strandfläche vom DLRG überwacht. Nach dem Baden in der Ostsee stehen mehrere Strandduschen zur Verfügung.

The Priwall is located across from the town of Travemünde at the Trave River estuary. Priwall not only offers a beautiful beach set among dunes but countless exciting holiday activities for people of all ages. The South Priwall region was recently declared a nature reserve thanks to its unique flora and fauna.
The beach is 1350 meters long and up to 260 meters width.
