A very enjoyable little ride up the north lake shore, not too close but good enough to see the sights. For $5 pesos kids can drive the boat as well :-)

Seating is at tables and a varied menu is presented. Alcohol is served as well.

Coordinates of boarding point may vary dependent of lake level. At time of posting the lake was low and boarding was at the end of the pier.

Lake Chapala is a 10 mile wide by 50 mile long lake located at approx 5000 feet above sea level. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains that provide a sort of controlled eco system to the lake shore area. Temps are almost always mild and the sun usually shines most every day. Rain usually can be had at night and evenings.
