The photo is taken from a position approximately 30 metres to the east of the bridge.

The bridge is held aloft by brick and stonework on both the north and south sides of Southwark Street. The bridge still carries rail traffic to/from Waterloo Station to London Bridge and Cannon Street Stations. The rails start to split at the southern part of the bridge with those to the west, coming from Waterloo, going to Cannon Street and those to the east, also coming from Waterloo, going to London Bridge.

The bridge is of steel girder construction.
Bridge Type: Girder

Bridge Usage: Railroad

Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
