The cross stands on the steps of the Convent Del Missionerss Del Sagrat Cors which was founded in 1749.
An inscription on the upright of the cross can be loosely translated as 'Brother William Bauza of Bleda bought this for this convent 1859.'
The small Latin cross is on top of a tall column which stands on a 5 stepped base.
This convent contains the final station of the cross on a route that starts about 1/2 mile away at the Church of St Bartholomew. (
