You will love the BBQ here. Its great! The restaurant is run by Jeffery Rafferty a expat from Manchester, England. Although he offers a mean fish and chips it would be a sin not to waymark this place as a BBQ joint because well, that's what Jeffery does best!
"Jeffery started out with a take out BBQ stand in Bucerias. His food was so popular that people demanded tables and chairs and it quickly turned into a thriving restaurant. He started the Café in Bucerias in August of 1996. He was there for ten years. Then he moved to the Lakeside area and started another take-out stand, selling BBQ Ribs and Chicken. His sauces are delicious. Soon he was asked to supply tables and chairs at this stand. Six years later he has the thriving Café Magana Restaurant." 1
The BBQ is so good and there is so much of it that he offers. The meat is tender and juicy and you get to choose the sauce type that you like, Ginger, Garlic, Chili, Smoke, Apple, Tamarind, Pepper or Orange. Meals come in XL and XXL relating to the number of sides you want. Prices are very reasonable, service is good.
