This scenic outlook is at the highest point between Cuber Reservoir and the village of Biniaraix on the hiking route GR 221.

This overlook view is slight below a cairn with a cross that marks the highest point on this pass.

Many people use this spot as a convenient stopping place between the two places. The cross and cairn would appear to indicate that this is regarded as a significant mountain pass.

The view point is next to a route sign that indicates an estimated walking time from here of 1 hour 25 minutes to Cuber and 2 hours 40 minutes to Biniaraix.

This spot is just below the height of 899 metres. The village of Biniaraix to the west is at a height of 100 metres and Cuber Reservoir is 770 meteres.

The total length of GR 221 is 145km and this part of the route is well signposted and the path is well defined. Cuber Reservoir does have a bus stop, but is very isolated. If you’re not walking the full 145km end to end the best option is to start from the reservoir. Taxis are reasonably cheap on the island and more flexible than the buses.
