The first and currently only pet cemetery of Switzerland was founded in 2001 at the border of the forest south of Läufelfingen. The area has about 15,000 m2. The idea started when the dog of the owner family Mörgeli was going to die and they did not find any satisfying solution, so they decided to open a pet cemetery.
