Další zajímavou stavbou je dum Convalaria na soubehu Ceské s ulicí Veselou od Josefa Šolce z roku 1938 - nesmírne dynamická funkcionalistická stavba se zaoblenými nárožími, pásovými okny a keramickým obkladem. Dnes se v budove nachází sídlo brnenské redakce deníku MF Dnes.
Krom MF Dnes v budove sílí i Lidové noviny a deník Metro.
