To celebrate the Resurrection of Christ large fireworks are set off following late mass.

Across from the church in the elementary schoolyard playground fireworks of all sorts are set off to celebrate Christ's Resurrection. Prior to the fireworks an elaborate mass is held outside the church with fireworks on the church as characters play out the opening of the tomb and Christ as he arises (the character literally rises above the crowd as a spot light is cast on him and fireworks spew from the church behind him) The presentation is quite impressive.

The fireworks are held the Saturday night before Easter Sunday each year following mass (about 12-12:30am Easter Sunday)
