Esta situado sobre el cerro del tambor. Este cerro domina la ciudad de Granada desde el Norte, y está actualmente totalmente lleno de antenas de comunicaciones.

se sale de granada, por la antigua carretera de Murcia, A unos cuatro kilometros a la salida de la ciudad y antes de llegar al barrio del Fargue, se encuentra el Restaurante-Hotel San Gabriel. Aqui podemos dejar el vehiculo y tomar un carril que con cadena encontramos junto al restaurante. Tiempo aproximado desde el restaurante 10 minutos.
