For several years now the lakeside malacon has been getting beter and better. In years past the park would flood when the lake rose. That problem was solved when fill dirt was brought in and the entire park was raised several feet.
Today the park has a high raised walkway the runs the length of the shoreline. It has been drastically extended to the west for quite some distance. playgrounds, basketball courts, benches, all sorts of amenities have been added to make it a first class malacon the town can be proud of.
