A sculpture of General Henry Knox was created for the bicentennial anniversary of Otis, MA in 2010. The sculpture is located on Route 8 west of the intersection with Route 23.

During the Revolutionary War, General Henry Knox transported a train of artillery captured at Ft. Ticonderoga to General Washington's troops in Boston. The route through New York and Massachusetts is known as the Knox Trail and passes through the town of Otis, MA.

To commemorate the bicentennial anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Otis a statue of General Knox, composed of welded metal parts and created by Gordon Chandler, was donated to the town by Charles Rosenblum. General Knox is standing upright next to and touching a cannon. A nearby granite tablet is inscribed:

STOPPING THE BRITISH SIEGE OF BOSTON. HIS ROUTE
BECAME KNOWN AS THE KNOX TRAIL.
