SERVICES D’URGENCE ET D’AIDE AUX SINISTRÉS
Les services offerts dans le sillage du tsunami en Asie du Sud-Est et de l’ouragan Katrina aux États-Unis illustrent bien l’aide efficace et opportune que fournit l’Armée du Salut aux sinistrés. Prêtes à intervenir très rapidement, nos unités d’aide aux sinistrés s’emploient immédiatement à alléger la souffrance physique et à aider les victimes à reprendre leur vie en main. Les services de secours d’urgence et d’aide aux sinistrés de l’Armée du Salut prêtent main-forte aux victimes de catastrophes partout dans le monde.
SERVICES COMMUNAUTAIRES ET D’AIDE À LA FAMILLE
L’Armée se préoccupe de ceux qui traversent une période de crise. Conformément à la philosophie de William Booth, notre travail consiste à faire renaître l’espoir chez ces personnes qui auraient autrement tendance à demeurer invisibles, et à leur redonner leur dignité. L’aide d’urgence est distribuée sous forme de vêtements, de denrées, de services d’hébergement, de conseils et d’amélioration des connaissances élémentaires.

Ready to respond at a moment's notice, our disaster assistance units work immediately to alleviate physical suffering and help victims regain control of their lives. The Salvation Army emergency and disaster relief services assist disaster victims around the world.
COMMUNITY AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
The Army cares about those who are going through times of crisis. In accordance with the philosophy of William Booth, our job is to restore hope in these people who would otherwise tend to remain invisible, and restore their dignity. Emergency aid is distributed in the form of clothing, foodstuffs, shelter services, advice and the improvement of basic skills.
