Monument located in the NW part of Freedom sq. is 380 cm tall. Made by sculptor Mr. Francis Dolezel from Boritov. Its establishment, the city council at meetings in July and August the 1924th Memorial ceremony held on October 28, 1924.

Pomník umístený v SZ cásti nám. Svobody a vysoký 380 cm zhotovil sochar pan František Doležel z Boritova nákladem 18.000 Kc (mimo betonárské práce a písmo). O jeho zrízení rozhodla mestská rada na jednáních v cervenci a srpnu 1924. Odhalení pomníku probehlo slavnostne dne 28.10.1924.

Headstone/Monument Text: [CS] Prední strana: MESTO BLANSKO vzpomíná svých SPOLUOBCANU zahynulých ve svetové válce 1914-1918 Levá strana: Požehnání těm, mír kdož tvoří, třikrát běda všem, kdož jej boří! Pravá strana: NA VĚČNOU PAMĚŤ TĚM, KDOŽ ZEMŘELI, ABYCHOM MY MOHLI ŽÍT! Na dalších stranách jsou desky se jmény 79 obetí. [EN] - translation Front: CITY BLANSKO recalls his Fellow-citizens died in World War 1914-1918 Left side: Blessings to those who are peace, three times woe to all who breaks it!
