This was formerly a train depot for a freight and passenger line that connect Haiku and Kahului, traversing some of north Maui's rugged terrain.

The freight on this train line was pineapple and sugar, but it was also an important passenger link. The train had to traverse the Maliko Gulch on a trestle, finally reaching Kahului on the northwest coast.
There is no reference to the dates for this depot, but it has been used by the Rambutan Furniture Co., until recently. But, it retains much of its old charm. Located at 381 Baldwin Ave. across from the old sugar mill. No tracks are left at the depot.
