In Newton Centre, along Beacon Street is a Peet's Coffee and Tea. The place is located along Beacon Street, by an intersection with Langley Road.
The store is on the south side of the street. There is a large city parking area nearby (metered). The building that it is in has two squarish features that are topped with a peaked roof. Above the coffee store entrance is a clock, which, I swear was the source of the chimes that went off at the top of the hour (there are many churches in the area, though).
Inside, the store actually had two long counters - one was open at the time. Either they are in the process of remodeling or they are prepared for the onslaught of people after a Boston College football game!
