The Appalachian Trail covers a distance of 2,100 miles from the north of Maine to Georgia.

The trail crosses The White Mountains in New Hampshire. Mt. Washington is the highest point in the northeast at 6,288 feet.

It is reknown for its unpredictable weather and very strong winds.

You can reach the summit by car, bicycle, motorcycle, train or like I do, hiking taking one of the many trails.
