Ceský popis

Na hrade Špilberku si mužete na hradbách prohlédnout 4 hlavne del. Jedná se o litinové hlavne pevnostních del, dve jsou datovány na cepech do druhé poloviny 18. století. Na Špilberk se dostaly asi až pri prestavbe hradu nemeckým Wehrmachtem na kasárna v letech 1940 - 41, kdy byly instalovány na kamenných podstavcích na tzv. "delovém bastionu".

Jedná se tedy o skutecné hlavne del, bohužel jejich puvod je neznámý i když se podobná výzbroj na hrade urcite nacházela. Roku 1809 francouzská armáda císare Napoleona vyhodila do povetrí cást opevnení Špilberku a odvezla také všechna dela nacházející se v prostorách hradní pevnosti. Zda jsou tato dela práve ta, která byla odvezena, již nelze s jistotou urcit.

English description

On walls of the castle Špilberk you can see 4 cannon barrels. These are mainly iron fortification barrels, two pins are dated to the second half of the 18th century. Barrels were installed on stone pedestals on so-called "cannon bastion" sometime in the years 1940 to 1941 by the German Wehrmacht during rebuilding of the castle into barracks.

It is therefore a real cannon barrels, however their origin is unknown, although similar weapons were in the castle definitely located. In 1809 the French emperor Napoleon's army blew up part of the fortifications Špilberk and also took all the cannons located on the premises of the castle fortress. It can not be determined with certainty whether these are just the cannons that were taken away.
