In 2004 I purchased a Primus 3 burner stove for my off-road camper trailer from this store. About two and a half years later while camped at Winjana Gorge in the remote Kimberley Region of Western Australia the gas hose for the stove blew apart at one of the fittings. We were lucky that the stove was turned off at the time, so there was no fire or explosion, and we were also lucky to be able to purchase a replacement at a second hand store in Derby the next day.

I visited Camping World a month or so later, with the sole aim of alerting them and the Primus Company of a possible danger. Without hesitation the manager took a hose off the shelf and gave it to me, with the promise that he would alert Primus and send them my hose for testing and investigation. The stove was well and truly out of warranty, but this is the sort of service that sticks in your memory and gets you coming back.

I should add that that stove has now travelled four times around and twice across Australia, is probably approaching (or may have passed) it's 1,0000th day of use, and all it takes is an occasional soaking of the jets in vinegar to keep it firing on all three burners. (I carry a spare screw top cache container a little larger than a film canister especially for this purpose).
