This red painted wood pagoda-style gazebo can be reach after climbing the 427 stone steps winding up Ti Top Island mountain. It offers the most incredible 360-degree view of Halong Bay.
Located about 8 km southeast from Bai Chay Wharf, Ti Top Island displays a beach shaped like a crescent moon. The island got its name from Ghermann Titov, a Soviet cosmonaut who visited this tiny island in 1962 accompanied by President Ho Chi Minh. To perpetuate the remembrance of Titov's visit, Ho Chi Minh named the place Ti Top Island.
