Kostel je nejkrásnejší stavbou ve Velkých Karlovicích. Stavba zapocala 1. 5. 1753 a byl dokoncen o rok pozdeji, 15. 8. 1754. Byl staven karlovskými tesari pod vedením Jana Žáka z Hážovic. Styl odpovídá lidovému baroku a jeho pudorys je rovnoramenný kríž, což je jedinecné. Kostel je roubený a je v nem 24 úhlu. Celá linie strechy je v jedné prímce. Uprostred ramen strechy vztycena vež. Je postaven bez jediného kovového prvku a bez dekorace. Geocache

The Church is the most beautiful building in Velké Karlovice. It’s construction started on 1st May 1753 and was finished in less than one year, on 15th August 1754. Carpenters, mostly from Velké Karlovice, built it under the command of Jan Žák of Hážovice. It is built in folk baroque style equal-arm cross-ground that is a unique phenomenon. The church is timbered and has 24 angles. The whole roof line forms one straight line. In the middle of the roof flights is the tour drawn. It is built without any metal elements and there is not any decoration. Geocache
