Tabacaria Sancho, Faro, Portugal - Independent Cigar Shops on Waymarking.com

I can't tell the exact year, but a bit more than four decades ago, when I was a small kid, in the age when just faded memories are preserved, my family came to spend the Christmas in Faro. We had an aunt in the town and I remember only two things from that Christmas. One of them is this store. I remember my uncle coming here to buy his pipe. No idea why I kept this specific detail, but now you know that this shop has been around for quite a while. And somehow I can feel it was here long before that December in the 60's.

Nowadays it's probably the only shop in the region where smokers can buy their goodies. Inside you will find a selection of tools for pipe and cigar smoking, and, of course, cigars and pipes.

As it wouldn't be possible to survive out of tobacco profits, different merchandise can be found inside: magazines, postcards, etc.

Now, the main feature (apart the products) in the shop is the old cash machine, which looks like 200 years old. Take a look at it.
