The benchmark is protected by a fence about a 1/4 mile from Arctic Valley road. off to the left about a 150 feet off the roadway. It is a U.S. War Dept- benchmark from 1951 ...KL4 set in concrete about 2 feet high from the ground. I just happen to see a fence and went to check it out and it was old and proteting the benchmark from any harm. I took 3 pictures of it. Very good shapre and very interesting.
