Aphrodite is a sculpture by the Bulgarian artist Radoslav Sultov.
Aphrodite was made for the III Simposium Internacional de Escultura (3th International Sculpture Simposium) Alvor (a close parish from Portimão Municipality) in 2003 and the sculpture was made during the simposium (everyone passing by could see the creative process going on). It´s in display on the riverside between the road and rail bridges.
This sculpture is inspired in the greek godsess Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of Love, Sexuality and Beauty.
This sculptuure is the perfect seat to enjoy the end of a summer afternoon with your loved one...
Radoslav Sultov was born in Bulgaria. He finished his master degree in Sculpture at the National Academy in Sofia in 2002 and then he proceeded to Spain where he studied fine arts and multimedia at the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca.
He has participated in several international symposia and exhibitions.
