The Roman god Bacchus"Bacchus was an alias, and subsequently adopted by the Romans, of the Greek god Dionysus, whose myth is considered even earlier by some scholars. The Romans adopted it, as many of their deities, foreign to the Roman mythology.
He is the god of wine, drunkenness, excess, especially sexual, and nature. Priapus is a favorite of his companions (his son is also considered, in some versions of his myth). The festivities in his honor were called Bacchanalia - the contemporary perception that such events were "cool" in the modern sense, ie, orgies, is still controversial.
The panther, the jug, and vineyard to a bunch of grapes. Other associations that were not done with Dionysus were attributed to Bacchus as he wields the thyrsus occasionally."

Asteroid 2063 Bacchus"The Apollo, Venus- and Mars-crosser asteroid 2063 Bacchus was discovered on April 24, 1977, by Charles T. Kowal at the Palomar Observatory. In March 1996 radar observations of the asteroid were conducted at the Goldstone Observatory under the direction of JPL scientists Steven Ostro and Lance Benner, allowing the construction of a model of the object. Optical observations were conducted by Petr Pravec, Marek Wolf, and Lenka Šarounová during March and April 1996.
The asteroid is about 1.11×0.53×0.50 km in size and has a bilobate shape. It is classified as a Q-type asteroid.
Its name derives from the Roman god Bacchus."
